He vied for the Kileleshwa Ward Member of County Assembly in Nairobi County during the recently concluded hotly contested 2022 general elections through the Orange Democratic Movement party ticket and won. A furious and agitated Kileleshwa Ward MCA Robert Alai has scathingly attacked Kenya Airways Cheif Executive Officer for his recent comments and threats to the striking pilots. According to his post, MCA Robert Alai asked Kenya Airways CEO Allan Kilavuka if he thinks that pilots are boda boda riders. Kenya Airways CEO Allan Kilavuka had said that it is too late for the pilots to negotiate. He threatened them to either go back to work or get themselves fired.
