The President of Kenya, William Ruto today held a surprise meeting with the outgoing Cabinet Secretaries who served in Uhuru Kenyatta’s Administration. The meeting saw both the outgoing and incoming Cabinet Secretaries meet Pres. Ruto at State House, Nairobi, Kenya.
The National Assembly recently vetted and approved all Cabinet Secretaries who had been appointed by President William Ruto. There was a however a push and pull over the approval of Tourism CS Nominee, Peninah Malonza but was later overwhelmingly approved by Members of Parliament.
Itumbi has now reacted to Pres. Ruto’s surprise move of hosting the outgoing CSs with majority being those the Head of State was not in good terms with during his Campaign period.

Dennis Itumbi has praised the manner in which President William Ruto has handled transition which shows political maturity. Before the General election, Ruto’s allies had at one point criticized Uhuru Kenyatta for sidelining and intimidating his Deputy, Ruto and many thought that Ruto would revenge once he gets power but it seems he has decided to forge ahead.
