Comedienne Mammito has told Kenyan entertainers that being an artist and still being single is something you bring on yourself. Her blunt take was shared by SPM Buzz and has fans laughing and debating in the comments.
Her point, in short, is that if you are famous and still alone, you have only yourself to blame. One fan summed it up with a single Swahili word, “kujitakia”, followed by a laughing emoji.
The stance is not new for her. Soon after confirming her breakup with comedian Eddie Butita in 2022, she told radio host Ankali Ray that she does not stay single even for a day, because men line up once a relationship ends. In a later interview, she said she was single and hoped to settle down someday, and that going public with a partner would depend on the man.
Then on June 15, 2025, the famously private star shared Father’s Day photos with a man, which The Standard reported as her unveiling a partner.
