Just Kira

Digital creator Just Kira has sparked conversation online after sharing what she describes as petty reasons that could make her lose interest in a man she is dating.

In a video shared by Kenya Gossip Club, Kira spoke directly to the camera while explaining some of the things she considers red flags in relationships. Dressed in a colourful tie dye t shirt and neat braids, the content creator used a mix of English and Swahili as she humorously explained her views.

Kira started by asking her audience to imagine being in a relationship before listing some of the behaviours that would make her walk away.

One of the issues she mentioned was a man asking about a woman’s body count. Kira said such a question would immediately make her uncomfortable, describing it as a sign of behaviour she would not want to deal with in a relationship.

She also spoke about men who do not set boundaries with their families, particularly when money is involved. According to Kira, she would have a problem with a man who allows constant financial demands from his family to interfere with his relationship.

The digital creator also revealed that she pays attention to how men behave on social media. She said she would not be interested in dating a man who regularly leaves insulting comments about women online.

For Kira, publicly disrespecting women says something about a person’s character. She made it clear that such behaviour would be enough for her to block a man rather than continue interacting with him.

Another issue she highlighted was communication. Kira said she prefers men who are not overly talkative, explaining that she is more comfortable with a man who speaks less than one who talks excessively.

Although she referred to the reasons as petty, Kira’s message appeared to be about personal boundaries and the kind of behaviour she is willing to accept in a relationship.

Her candid approach has since attracted reactions from social media users, with some finding her observations relatable while others debated whether the issues she raised were genuinely petty or reasonable dating standards.
