Tanzanian singer Zuchu stepped out in elegant style just days after her lavish baby shower, marking her first major public appearance alongside partner Diamond Platnumz following the birth of their daughter.
The mega baby shower on 31 July 2026 in Dar es Salaam had already set tongues wagging. Guests watched the couple dance, share affectionate moments, and celebrate the gender reveal of a baby girl.
Diamond publicly apologised and presented Zuchu with a cash gift of about KSh 3.8 million (USD 30,000), signalling reconciliation after recent split rumours. The pink-themed event, attended by family and industry figures including Khadija Kopa, captured the couple’s renewed bond.
Their daughter arrived on 2 August 2026. On 4 August, Zuchu and Diamond left the hospital in grand fashion that turned a routine discharge into a spectacle.
Diamond, dressed in all-black with a fedora and dark sunglasses, carefully carried the newborn in a black infant carrier. Zuchu, radiant in a flowing white robe, walked beside him holding his hand. Crowds cheered and cameras flashed as the pair approached Diamond’s signature blue Rolls-Royce Cullinan with its distinctive orange interior.
A tight luxury convoy followed, featuring a black Cadillac Escalade, other high-end SUVs and motorcycle escorts under a police-cleared route. Diamond opened the door for Zuchu before placing their daughter inside. The family then headed to Mama Dangote’s home for a warm welcome.
Fans hailed the stylish exit as a fitting public debut for the new parents. Zuchu, whose real name is Zuhura Othman Soud, looked graceful and composed, embodying quiet confidence after the whirlwind of pregnancy, reconciliation and new motherhood.
