Prophet Dr. David Owuor, the leader of the Ministry of Repentance and Holiness, has made a striking prophecy concerning his eventual death, claiming that he will be killed in Jerusalem after completing what he described as his final witnessing mission.
Speaking during a gathering attended by members of his ministry, Owuor said he had received a message from God regarding the circumstances surrounding his departure from the earth.
According to the prophet, his death will not occur naturally. He claimed that he would be assassinated in Jerusalem by what he referred to as “the Beast,” after which his body would remain unburied for three days.
Owuor drew parallels between his prophecy and the account of the two witnesses in the biblical Book of Revelation, particularly the passage describing their deaths and subsequent return to life.
“The Lord spoke with me with great joy,” Owuor told the congregation, according to remarks circulating from the gathering. “He said the time for my exit is approaching. I will be murdered in Jerusalem, denied burial, and after three days He will take me home to be with my Father and Friend.”
His remarks reportedly left some members of the congregation emotional, with some worshippers crying while others raised their hands in prayer and worship.
The prophecy has also drawn attention because Owuor has previously spoken publicly about his eventual death and his role in what he describes as an end-time mission. Similar statements attributed to him have circulated among his followers for several years.
The latest remarks have since sparked discussion among his followers, particularly over his interpretation of biblical prophecy and the significance he attaches to his ministry.
