President William Ruto’s youngest son, George Ruto, is once again a subject of online chatter after a video showing him embracing an unidentified woman went viral on TikTok.
The clip, posted by user @shantelkosgei on Saturday, September 12, was filmed in a driveway outside an upscale multi-storey building, with palm trees visible in the background.
George appeared in a black T-shirt, blue jeans and sneakers, while the woman beside him wore dark cargo pants and a brown hoodie.
A black Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon believed to belong to George was parked just behind the pair.
In the video, the two are seen playfully wrapping their arms around each other before sharing a warm embrace.
At one point, George rested his hand on the woman’s shoulder before appearing to gesture to whoever was filming to stop.
The clip has drawn heightened attention due to months of public speculation linking George to popular educator and content creator Teacher Cillah, who had openly expressed admiration for him.
The two eventually met in person, with George appearing to address the rumours directly during their encounter.
“I came first of all to set the record straight, niko na bibi wewe, but I think that it was good while it lasted,” he said, indicating he was already in a relationship.
Against that backdrop, the new footage featuring a different, unnamed woman has only intensified public curiosity.
The identity of the woman remains unknown, and neither George nor anyone close to him has publicly addressed the video.
Kenyans online were split in their reactions, with some pointing out that the embrace appeared friendly rather than romantic, while others expressed concern over how Teacher Cillah might react to the clip.
