She is a High Court advocate and earned both her Bachelor of Laws and Master of Environmental Law from the University of Nairobi.

Previously, she worked at the Kenya Wildlife Service, where she was the Head of Prosecution and Investigation Officer.

Subsequently, she joined the African Wildlife Foundation, taking on senior roles related to wildlife law enforcement.

Didi hails from a politically connected family; she is the daughter of the late Joseph Wamukoya, a former Member of Parliament and government minister from Matungu. Despite her background, she has mostly stayed away from active politics.The couple reportedly met while studying at the University of Nairobi and formalized their marriage in 2015. They have kept their family life mostly private, even as Sifuna’s political profile has grown.
