Photos have emerged of Maame Hannah, a married woman who shocked viewers after admitting that she had been involved with seven different men while her husband was working in Dubai.
Hannah appeared on the Oyerepa Afutuo programme to raise concerns about financial difficulties in her seven-year marriage to Takyi Prince.The couple had been separated after Prince moved to the United Arab Emirates to look for employment.
During the programme, Hannah complained that the financial assistance she received from her husband had become inadequate.
She explained that Prince initially sent her about KSh8,000 every month, part of which went towards household expenses and outstanding electricity bills.
The payments later stopped after Prince accused Hannah of being unfaithful.
Prince joined the programme from Dubai and presented a different account of what had caused their marriage to deteriorate.He claimed Hannah had contacted him several times to admit that she had been involved with other men.
According to Prince, he initially chose to forgive his wife after she confessed to her first affair. However, he said the situation did not end there, as Hannah continued informing him about other relationships.
Prince claimed that she eventually confessed to affairs involving seven men.
Although he had tried to save the marriage despite the revelations, he said he had now reached a decision to seek a divorce.
Hannah did not completely dispute the accusations.
Instead, she connected some of her actions to the financial challenges she faced while her husband was away.
As the discussion shifted towards the possible end of their marriage, Hannah also raised financial matters.
She demanded that Prince repay a KSh23,000 loan and give her a share of proceeds from a farm they had previously owned together.
The dramatic television confrontation attracted considerable attention because the couple openly discussed private matters before a live audience.Their dispute has also drawn attention to the pressures that can affect couples separated for long periods because of employment, especially when financial difficulties and trust issues arise.
