Milly Chebby and Husband

Content creator Milly Chebby and her husband, comedian Terence Creative, have pledged to build a permanent home for the mother of the late James Kimani.

Speaking in a video shared on Friday, Chebby said she first met Kimani in 2023 while driving through Thindigua. Their encounter led her to learn about the family’s struggles, prompting her and her husband to offer support.

Chebby said they later bought land for the family using their own money and have now decided to build a house for Kimani’s mother.

She said the project is being financed by the couple and not through public donations.

Chebby described Kimani as a devoted son who always looked after his mother and often spoke about her.

She said his love for his family inspired them to continue supporting his mother even after his death.

The content creator also thanked Kenyans who contributed to the family’s welfare over the past two years, saying their support made a difference during a difficult period.

She said the family’s journey with her and Terence would not end after the burial, adding that they would return to oversee the construction of the new home.

The announcement comes days after Chebby appealed for financial support to help the family meet funeral expenses.

Before the burial, she disclosed that the family was unable to raise the full KSh350,000 required for the funeral and appealed to well-wishers to help cover the shortfall.

Chebby said she has supported the family since 2023, helping them relocate to better living conditions before Kimani’s death.
