The Kenyan Government has today broken silence with an afternoon powerful statement targeting all motor vehicles in the country.

Addressing via the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) today the 15rd day of June 2026, the Kenyan Government has banned all motor vehicles from carrying loads that exceed a height of 4.3 meters.

The Kenyan Government has announced that only motor vehicles that embody the aforementioned maximum load height will be granted the solemn leeway to operate on the expansive Kenyan roads.

The Kenyan Government has announced that the ban which takes effect immediately has been orchestrated with an aim of ensuring public safety as well as safeguarding the Kenyan roads from unmerited damage caused by abnormally high and heavy loads.

The Kenyan Government has however made a strategic declaration that motor vehicles embodying abnormal loads will be given special permits by KeNHA to allow them to navigate along the Kenyan roads.

The Kenyan Government has announced that motor vehicles embodying the requisite permit for the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) will be given a specific route to use and time under which they will be required to transport their respective loads.
