Relief has swept through a family in Kenya after a woman who disappeared shortly before her wedding ceremony was found safe several days later in another part of the country.

 

The woman, identified as Joy Ngina, was reported missing after she failed to return home on the eve of her planned wedding. Family members said she had informed them that she was attending a pre-wedding function, but they became concerned when all attempts to reach her proved unsuccessful.

As hours turned into days, anxiety grew among relatives and friends, prompting a search effort to locate her. Information about her disappearance was circulated widely on social media and other platforms in the hope that members of the public could assist in finding her.

 

The case attracted significant attention due to the unusual timing of her disappearance, coming just before a major family celebration.

Investigators later traced her last known movements to the Changamwe area. Following further inquiries, police were able to track her location and eventually discovered her in Nakuru.
