In a recent account shared online, Arora described the terrifying moments when gunmen stormed the mall, sending shoppers and families into panic as they fought to stay alive.
Arora said she was at the mall during a children’s cooking competition when the attack began. Reports indicate many people first thought the loud blasts were caused by a transformer explosion before realizing it was a terror assault. She recalled scenes of fear as parents, children, and elderly people rushed for safety while gunfire rang out.
She further narrated how a grenade was thrown toward the group she was with but did not explode, a moment she described as miraculous. Sources reveal she also remembered attackers separating people based on religion during the siege, adding to the fear and confusion inside the mall.
