In his message, Wetangula noted that they had joined the Chirchir family to mourn the passing of Mr. Koech and to celebrate his life and legacy. He described the late Koech as a man who dedicated his life to building dreams, nurturing hope, and inspiring generations through his wisdom, strength, and service to others.
Wetangula further expressed that Koech’s legacy would continue to guide and inspire many who knew him and those who benefit from his impact indirectly.
He added his message with a prayer for comfort and strength for the family during this difficult period, quoting scripture: “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted” (Matthew 5:4).
