The 75 Artillery Battalion of the Kenya Defence Forces has successfully concluded its Annual Administrative Inspection.The inspection, carried out on 17, April, was led by the Commander Artillery Brigade, Brigadier Samuel Kimani, who arrived at the camp and was first accorded a formal Quarter Guard reception before proceeding to inspect an administrative parade.

The event marked a key moment in evaluating the battalion’s internal systems and preparedness for its operational duties.

During the exercise, Brigadier Kimani received a comprehensive briefing covering both operational and administrative aspects of the battalion.

The review focused on critical areas such as equipment serviceability, management of military stores, personnel welfare, and adherence to established procedures under Kenya Defence Forces standards.

Each department underwent close scrutiny, with personnel assessed on their level of organisation, accountability, and compliance with regulations guiding military administration.

The inspection also placed strong emphasis on the readiness of artillery systems and the efficiency of support structures within the unit.In his remarks, Brigadier Kimani underscored the importance of precision and discipline in all administrative processes, noting that such inspections play a vital role in strengthening command structures and reinforcing best practices within the force.

He added that continuous evaluation remains essential in maintaining a high level of operational efficiency.

The successful completion of the inspection was viewed as a strong indicator of the battalion’s preparedness to execute its mandate.

It also highlighted the unit’s ongoing dedication to professionalism and its role within the broader objectives of the Kenya Defence Forces in safeguarding national security and maintaining operational excellence.
