Sarah Atieno, popularly known as Lavender from the Kenyan TV series Inspekta Mwala, has publicly reacted to news that the woman who had an affair with her estranged husband is now contemplating leaving him.
Speaking candidly, Lavender could not hide her amusement, firing a rhetorical jab in Swahili: “Ukiona mwanaume amenenepa umadhani nani amefanya kazi?” — loosely translated as, “When you see a man looking well-fed, who do you think did the work?”
The actress revealed the other woman had previously called her repeatedly, threatening her to stay away from the man. Now that the tables have turned, Lavender says she has no sympathy.
“Dada yangu vumilia,” she told the side chic, meaning “My sister, endure it.”
The story, first reported by Tuko.co.ke, highlights a recurring tension many Kenyan women navigate when marriages break down amid third-party interference.
Lavender’s sharp response resonated widely online, with many praising her composure and wit in handling a situation that publicly humiliated her.
