Mueni, the wife of popular Kenyan fashion designer Bolo Bespoke, has sparked debate online after advising women not to give up easily on their marriages.

In a viral video recorded during a recent family visit to her rural home in Ukambani, the businesswoman passionately urged married women to defend and protect the relationships they have spent years building.

Mueni said that many women today quickly give up when they encounter challenges in marriage, yet there are others ready to take advantage of such situations. According to her, some women in the city actively pursue married men, making it even more important for wives to stand firm and safeguard their families.

“I will fight for my marriage,” Mueni said confidently in the clip. “You cannot just find your husband with another woman and choose to walk away. Some women are in the business of stealing husbands.”

The mother of children emphasized that she would never allow another woman to enjoy the life she worked hard to build with her husband. She added that she is determined to keep her family intact and does not want her children to grow up without their father.

However, Mueni clarified that fighting for a marriage does not always mean physical confrontation. Instead, she noted that women can use different strategies and wisdom to protect their relationships.

She also pointed out that motherhood often changes a woman’s life, saying many women lose part of their “spark” after giving birth. According to her, it can be painful when a man decides to cheat after a woman has dedicated herself to building a family.

Her remarks quickly triggered mixed reactions online. While some Kenyans supported her stance on protecting marriages, others argued that relationships require effort from both partners and that personal peace should sometimes come first.

Despite the divided opinions, Mueni’s bold remarks have continued to spark widespread discussion on marriage and relationships.
