Residents of Kilimani are living in fear after a daring midnight intruder, nicknamed “Spider-Man,” was once again spotted scaling apartment buildings with alarming ease.
The suspect allegedly climbed a 10-storey apartment block in the upscale Kilimani neighbourhood without any safety gear or harness.
CCTV clip circulating on Facebook shows the man entering the compound at exactly 2:51am, his face concealed under a black hoodie.
In the footage, the man is seen making his way to the ground-floor balcony before beginning his astonishing ascent.
Using only balcony railings and walls for support, he steadily climbs from one floor to the next. Within minutes, he reaches the 10th floor, appearing calm and calculated throughout the climb.
According to information shared alongside the viral video, the suspect allegedly went on a stealing spree after accessing upper-floor balconies.
He was later captured descending the building just as carefully as he had climbed it. When he finally exited the premises, he was reportedly carrying a backpack filled with assorted items believed to have been stolen from the apartments.
The incident is said to have taken place along Dennis Pritt Road, a high-end residential stretch known for its luxury apartment complexes.
A cautionary message accompanying the clip warned residents to remain vigilant, claiming the so-called “Spider-Man” had returned to terrorise homes in the area.
“For those who live on Dennis Pritt Road, be vigilant, Spider-Man is back terrorising apartments. This is at the apartments where he managed to climb till 10th floor through balconies and walls!” read the warning.
The video has sparked widespread reactions online, with many Kenyans expressing disbelief and concern over the suspect’s agility and the apparent security lapse.
Some questioned how he gained access to the compound in the first place, with one social media user suggesting it could be an inside job.
As the footage continues to circulate, residents are urging building managements, to tighten security measures to prevent further incidents and ensure the safety of those living in the area.
