Tanzanian gospel star Christina Shusho has sparked widespread buzz online, after a video emerged showing her stepping out in a stunning white wedding gown, leaving fans excited and curious.
The viral clip attracted mixed reactions, with many congratulating her while others questioned whether the bridal look was part of a music project.
Shusho’s appearance in the wedding dress comes months after she openly revealed that she was in a relationship.
In September 2025, the Shusha Nyavu hitmaker publicly admitted she had found love again, years after separating from her ex-husband, Pastor John Shusho. It was the first time she spoke about her romantic life after keeping silent for a long period.
In a heartfelt video shared in October 2025, the singer gushed about her partner, describing the qualities she admired and expressing joy over the relationship.
Her openness delighted fans who had followed her journey for years, especially after she previously explained the painful decision behind her divorce.
Shusho had earlier stated that she left her marriage because she needed to honour her calling. She revealed that she could not live a life of pretense and felt she could not fully serve God while remaining in the union.
She described her separation as an “assignment” and insisted the breakup was amicable, noting that both she and her ex-husband understood that their callings were different.
Following the viral wedding gown video, some supporters believed it could have been filmed for a music video.
However, a comment from Kenyan gospel singer Mercy Masika fuelled speculation that the singer might have actually tied the knot.
Masika hinted that Shusho was no longer “on the market,” adding that Reverend Teresia Wairimu had once prophesied that Shusho would have a white wedding.
She congratulated Shusho’s partner, writing that she loved the union for both love and purpose.
Shusho and Teresia Wairimu are known close friends, often spotted together whenever the musician visits Kenya, including at sermons hosted by Teresia and the late Bishop Kathy Kiuna’s JCC ministry. Fans continue reacting with excitement as speculation grows.
