Left Leg

Akothee’s flight took a scary turn – she landed in the hospital, not at home.

She was back to pick up her only two daughters still in Kenya, planning a quick stop before moving.

She’d mentioned this move before, but the trip turned into a painful reminder of how fast health can change.

Soon after landing, she got hit with bad lower back pain. It started as a bother but got worse super fast. She stood all flight long, not knowing how bad things were.

By the time she got to her hotel, the pain was too much. She tried to ask for help at reception but couldn’t stand. They had to wheelchair her because she lost strength in her left leg.

Doctors said her spinal cord was under pressure, causing the pain and loss of movement.

Things got worse because of heavy bleeding, making everything even scarier. That simple trip turned into a medical emergency.

The quick help from Boma Hotel staff and the Luton Hospital medical team made sure she got help right away. They stabilized her before things got worse.

Akothee says she’s safe now and recovering. This whole thing shook her up, but she’s thankful for all the help she got.

She told her fans to never ignore lower back pain–it’s serious. She thanked everyone who supported her and told people to take care of themselves.

Right now, Akothee is focused on getting better, being with her family, and moving ahead with thanks after a close call.
