Mayienga FM, station under the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC), announced his passing on Saturday, December 6, in an emotional post that left many listeners in disbelief.According to sources, Amimo’s body was first preserved at the Nairobi Funeral Home as formal procedures were completed, before being transferred to Montezuma Funeral Home for further preparation.
His death has also sparked broader concern, with politician Millie Odhiambo expressing shock and questioning the rising trend of public figures dying unexpectedly despite appearing to be in good health.
She called for investigations into the pattern, a sentiment echoed by many Kenyans who continue to mourn Amimo’s sudden loss.
