Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has fired back at his critics after successfully traveling to the United States, despite earlier claims that he would be unable to do so. Sudi’s remarks were directed at Pastor Dorcas Rigathi, who had previously suggested that certain leaders were unlikely to secure travel clearance due to integrity and documentation concerns.
Speaking after his return, Sudi said his trip was proof that accusations about his inability to travel were unfounded. He noted that the narrative questioning his eligibility had been pushed repeatedly, painting him in a negative light. According to him, visiting the U.S. not only dismissed these claims but also reaffirmed his standing both locally and internationally.
He emphasized that his travel was official and productive, involving engagements with Kenyan diaspora communities and partners interested in development programs. Sudi said such opportunities help strengthen Kenya’s global ties and create avenues for collaboration, adding that leaders should not use misleading information to discredit others.
The MP urged public figures to verify facts before making statements that damage reputations.
