The family and National Government Administrative Officers (NGAOs) are mourning the sudden loss of Assistant County Commissioner (ACC) Diana Mbugua.

ACC Mbugua died while giving birth at Coptic Hospital in Nairobi.

 

She was attached to the Office of the Deputy President, where she played a vital role in coordinating government programs at the grassroots level. Her colleagues describe her as a hardworking officer who always placed service above self.

The NGAO fraternity has expressed heartfelt condolences to her family, noting that her dedication and discipline will remain an inspiration to many young administrators.

Community members have joined the mourning, recalling her humility and commitment to uplifting local residents. Religious leaders have also offered prayers, asking for divine protection over mothers and families across the country.

Beyond the grief, her Mbugua’s death highlights the ongoing challenge of maternal health in Kenya. Despite progress in healthcare, maternal deaths remain a serious concern.

Health experts and community leaders are calling for stronger investment in maternal care, better facilities, and increased awareness to prevent such tragedies.
