A Kenyan woman is mourning the tragic loss of her husband, Baba Tish, after he was killed in a devastating road accident.
The woman, identified as Slyvia and known on TikTok as @Slyviab001, shared emotional screenshots of their final WhatsApp conversations, leaving thousands of social media users heartbroken.
In her tribute, Slyvia revealed she became worried when her husband stopped picking up her calls, unaware that he had already been involved in a fatal crash. She continued texting him throughout the day, hoping for a response that never came.
“Our last conversation, I was sad that you weren’t picking up my calls. Your phone went off and I kept texting, not knowing you were already gone,” she wrote.
The screenshots she posted showed the couple exchanging loving messages before the tragedy. Baba Tish had been updating her about his journey and assuring her of his love.
The messages also hinted at a brief misunderstanding concerning someone who had been in their house earlier, but he reassured her of his commitment.
“I have no one else. I cannot be with any other woman. I even have you as my display photo. I told you I love you and you alone,” read one of his heartfelt texts.
However, as the day went on, the chats became one-sided. Slyvia continued reaching out repeatedly, expressing fear and frustration as his silence grew longer.
“Beb, why can’t you just text me and tell me what’s going on? Your phone is off, and your silence is making me overthink,” she wrote in one of her last messages.
None of her texts were ever answered.
After sharing her grief online, Kenyans flooded her page with words of comfort and prayers.
Many related to her pain, while others encouraged her to remain strong during the difficult period.
Her story comes as another reminder of the fragility of life, echoing similar heartbreaking accounts shared by families who lost loved ones in sudden tragedies.
