Kenyan fashion designer Bolo Bespoke has once again captured the attention of fans after sharing the progress of the beautiful five-bedroom bungalow he is building for his mother upcountry.

In a heartfelt video posted on Facebook, Bolo proudly showcased the structure, which has already reached the lintel stage. The walls are lined with classy decorative stones, a sign of the elegant finish he promises his mother.

Bolo revealed that some people had accused him of abandoning the project after laying the foundation. He, however, addressed the claims, saying he decided to pause construction so he could personally oversee the next stages.

“Some people said I stopped the work, but I’m in control of this. A house is built with money, not cement. Take me slowly,” he said with confidence.

The talented tailor explained that he wants everything done perfectly, especially the interior, which he promised will be “unmatched.” He also took a moment to reflect on his journey, recalling the tough years after losing his father and how he took on small jobs to support himself before finding success in Nairobi.

“She prayed for me before I even knew how to pray for myself. Now I’m building her a home not just with bricks, but with every sacrifice and every late night,” Bolo wrote.

While some Kenyans praised his dedication, others accused him of responding to imaginary critics. Still, Bolo seemed unfazed, saying his life is like a book—people only see what he chooses to share.

Recently, Bolo was also spotted at Raila Odinga’s funeral, where he shared a rare moment with President William Ruto, calling it an unforgettable experience.

Bolo’s latest update proves one thing — his dream of giving his mother a beautiful home is slowly becoming a reality.
