The National Council for Population and Development (NCPD) has called on qualified Kenyans to apply for a range of job vacancies in different departments.

The government agency, which focuses on population and development issues, announced that applications should be submitted by Friday, September 26, 2025.

Applicants can submit their documents either by email or by delivering them directly to the NCPD head office in Nairobi.

The required documents include an application letter, updated CV, copies of certificates, testimonials, and a copy of a national identity card or passport.

Job Positions Available

The agency listed several openings, each with unique qualifications and responsibilities.

Drivers – Candidates should have at least a KCSE grade D, a valid BCE driving license, and six years of driving experience. They must also hold a first aid certificate.

Their duties will involve transporting staff, ensuring passenger and vehicle safety, updating work tickets, and conducting routine checks on assigned vehicles.

Assistant Office Administrator – To qualify, one must hold a diploma in Secretarial Studies from KNEC and be skilled in computer applications.

The role includes handling calls, attending to visitors, operating office equipment, and processing data using e-office systems.

Assistant Director of Population – This senior position requires a master’s degree in population studies or demography and at least 12 years of professional experience.

The officer will research population matters, prepare policy briefs, and coordinate national programmes in partnership with other stakeholders.

Deputy Director of Human Resources and Administration – Applicants must have a master’s degree in HR or business administration, supported by a higher diploma or CHRP certification.

Twelve years of work experience is also required. The officer will advise on HR policies, oversee succession planning, and manage staff performance appraisals.

Alongside the NCPD announcement, the Kirinyaga County Public Service Board has also advertised several job openings in education, health, and administration.

The county is inviting applications for ECDE teachers, nurses, and ward administrators, with a deadline of October 3, 2025.

These job announcements bring hope to many Kenyans seeking employment, especially as demand for opportunities continues to rise nationwide.
