Veteran actress and radio presenter Jacqueline Nyaminde, popularly known as Wilbroda, has revealed the heartbreaking experience that shaped her decision to have only one child.
Speaking to media personality Alex Mwakideu, Wilbroda shared that after the birth of her son, she became pregnant again but sadly suffered a miscarriage. The pain, she said, was so overwhelming that she chose to grieve quietly, confiding only in a few close family members and friends.
“I had already bonded with the baby. I felt she was going to be a girl, even gave her a name, and would often talk to her. Losing her crushed me,” Wilbroda recalled.
The Papa Shirandula star described it as one of her lowest moments, adding that the loss discouraged her from trying for another child. Today, she says she is content raising her son as a single mother and leaves the possibility of more children entirely in God’s hands.
