At the farm hotel we see cleaning is going on and Karen comes in and she is welcomed in well. Remember this is now Naomi’s hotel and Karen asks if she is around and Paul tells her she hasn’t come in yet. Karen decides wait for Madam Naomi right there at her makeshift office after declining some coffee from Paul who leaves her there to go inside.
Karen quickly sits down and starts going through some documents on the table. We know she too always has an agenda and she is hoping to something that would make her continue bullying Naomi. A certain gentleman comes in and addresses her as Naomi as he greets her. The guy continues saying he has come for the paycheck of his cousin.
Karen now confused asks which money and that is when the guy explains himself. He says Naomi had clearly said he comes for cash as online transactions could bring some suspicions. The guy says they have an emergency as the kid of his cousin is sick and given he is now serving life in prison, his family is going through a lot after he almost killed somebody.
The guy even warns ‘Naomi’ who is Karen and just acting up that she risks being exposed and would rot in jail instead if the cousin confesses everything forcing ‘Naomi’ to now relent. ‘Naomi’ manages to convince the guy that she would call her sometimes so they can meet and fulfill her promise and even talk some more.
The guy writes his number on a piece of paper but clearly not really convinced as doubt can be seen written all over his face and he leaves. Naomi comes in and she almost collapses in shock on meeting Karen in her office. What’s up let’s hang on and see what will transpire next huh.
