In the last few hours or so, celebrated Kikuyu musician Ben Githae has been trending on the Facebook platform.
This is after his baby mama Margaret Wanjiru exposed him for how he had left her alone to deal with their sick child by the moniker of Sharon Wachera.
According to Margaret Wanjiru, Ben Githae refused to help her after she told him that Sharon Wachera needed some blood donation, as the girl is slated to undergo an operation soon.
This is despite the fact that SHA will pay for the money needed for the operation, and therefore she only needed the singer to help with the blood donation part.
The lady actually reached out to popular digital creator Githaiga Wa Chaai, and pleaded with him to help her by exposing the matter publicly so as to see if anyone is willing to help them.
Margaret Wanjiru further revealed that Sharon Wachera was currently at the Kenyatta Hospital, ward 5c, and she also left her phone number for anyone who is willing to donate blood to contact her.
Ben Githae reacts
After Githaiga Wa Chaai exposed the matter, Ben Githae had no other option but to respond and give his side of the story.
According to the Tabia Mbaya hit maker, he has not refused to help Margaret Wanjiru to help in Sharon Wachera’s treatment because he has been taking care for her needs.
The singer actually claimed that he had agreed with his baby mama to first seek help from their friends relatives, with regards to raising the finances needed for the treatment.
“…Sasa huyo mmoja ni mgonjwa and friends have walked a journey with me kwa matibabu from artists, comedians na watangazaji wengi wamekuwa nami as the kid is being treated…” he said.
Ben Githae was therefore shocked to learn that Margaret Wanjiru had decided to expose the issue, while they had already agreed on the way forward.

Ben Githae finally helps
Ben Githae also took to his Facebook account today and made a post that showed how he had finally gave in to the demands of the baby mama.
