Veteran sports journalist Carol Radull has been appointed as the new Head of Radio at the soon-to-be-launched sports radio station dubbed Sporty FM.
This big news was actually disclosed by the radio station via a post that it made on its Instagram account, where it shared a page of an article that talked about the planned launch of the new station.
According to the article, Sporty FM will be officially launched on Sunday, the 17th of August in Nairobi and Mombasa.
The 24/7 sports radio station will have the frequency of 105.0 FM in Nairobi and 107.3 FM in Mombasa.
At the bottom of the article however, there was a piece that talked about how Carol Radull is now in charge of Sporty FM, and she is tasked with leading the radio station in this new journey.
Carol Radull has actually been appointed to that top position at a time when she is also working at Spice FM as a sports presenter.
The veteran sports journalist joined the Standard Group-owned station in November 2024, and she has been hosting The Playground Show with her famous co-presenters Kieni Githinji and Roy Karuhize.
According to reports, Carol Radull has been in the media industry for over 20 years now.
In that stint, she has managed to work at Radio Africa Group as the head of Bamba Sport.
Carol Radull also previously worked at Kiss FM and Classic 105 FM as a presenter of a sports show, before she later joined NTV, where she also hosted a sports show.
According to reports however, the veteran sports journalist has also previously worked at BBC as a producer.
