Warunge

Angela Waruinge, popularly known as Miss Morgan from the hit TV show Tahidi High, has reappeared in the public eye with a noticeably slimmer figure, sparking mixed reactions from Kenyans. Once admired for her fuller cheeks and commanding on-screen presence, the former actress now looks strikingly different.

Her transformation became a talking point after she appeared in an interview with radio presenter Alex Mwakideu. While some fans praised her new look, calling it a “glow-up,” others voiced concern over her health and well-being.

Angela opened up about her struggles, revealing that the COVID-19 pandemic cost her her job, pushing her into depression. In an attempt to cope, she turned to alcohol, which spiraled into addiction and took a toll on her mental health. At her lowest point, she even contemplated ending her life.

She credited her recovery to her mother’s unwavering support and shared that, given another chance, she might have chosen a different career path. Angela urged others to embrace their humanity and avoid chasing perfection.

While many Kenyans celebrated her resilience and recovery, others expressed hope that her transformation came from a place of healing rather than ongoing struggles.
