Top lawyer Ahmednassir Abdullahi has said something very strong about Kenya’s leaders. He said that former President Daniel arap Moi was never meant to be President. He called Moi “an accident” and “a passing cloud.”

That means Moi became President by mistake, not by plan. The people who started Kenya—the founding fathers—never imagined that someone like Moi would become the leader after Jomo Kenyatta. It just happened by surprise.

But Ahmednassir did not stop there. He said that what happened with Moi is now happening again with President William Ruto. He said Ruto is “a second accident.” He believes Ruto also became President by surprise, not because it was part of any big plan.

Ahmednassir thinks Ruto used smart tricks and good timing to reach the top, just like Moi did. It was not part of the original dream that Kenya’s first leaders had.

Ahmednassir said that even the people who came after the founding fathers also agree with him. He mentioned people like Wakabando wa Mutoro and Macharia Njeru.

He tagged them in his post to show that other serious people also believe the same thing. He was telling the President directly: “Even the people who came after the founders did not plan for this to happen.”

He was saying that Kenya was supposed to be led in a better way, with better plans and better leaders. But somehow, the leadership keeps going to people who were not expected to lead. First, it happened with Moi. Now, it has happened again with Ruto.

In short, Ahmednassir is saying the same mistake has happened two times. People who were not supposed to be Presidents ended up becoming Presidents. He says that shows there is something wrong with the way Kenya chooses its leaders.
