Days after the National Police Service (NPS) issued a warrant of arrest against Mugithi maestro and police officer Samuel Ndirangu Muchoki popularly known by his stage name as Samidoh, the talented artist has now broken his silence and addressed the disturbing reports which were spread across various social media platforms.
During a live TikTok session on Thursday 12, June 2025, Samidoh who is currently in the United States promoting his songs deflected the seriousness of the warrant of arrest that was issued against him on desertion charges after he jokingly stated that the only dessert he knows of is that of a sweet course eaten at the end of a meal.
“Who is calling me a desert? All along I have been knowing that a dessert is a sweet treat enjoyed after a meal.” Samidoh stated through the live TikTok session.
Samidoh who also expressed a relaxed stance amid the call for his arrest also downplayed the threats after he termed them as a passing cloud that will soon come to an end.
“All that I am currently going through is just a passing cloud, even storms never last forever.” He added while speaking to his ardent supporters.
In a rather controversial fashion, Samidoh hinted that it would be a dounting task for those pushing for his arrest to succeed in apprehending him after he hinted that his return back to Kenya might take longer than expected after he discovered the state’s plan against him.
