A 62-year-old woman from Murang’a County has welcomed twin girls after many years of waiting to become a mother, in a remarkable family celebration that has touched many people.
The newborns, named Wangari and Ng’endo, were welcomed by relatives during a thanksgiving service held at CFF Kikuyu, where the family gathered to celebrate what they described as a long-awaited blessing.
Among those present was Kinyona Ward MCA Liz Mbugua, who is Muthoni’s cousin. Mbugua joined other family members in marking the arrival of the twins and described the birth as a double blessing and an answered prayer.
