listen

Sometimes, we expect God to speak in loud, unmistakable ways like a booming voice from the sky. But the truth is, God often speaks in subtle, quiet ways that we can easily overlook if we’re not paying attention. Here are six signs God might be speaking to you, and you might be missing them:

1. A deep sense of peace in difficult times – If you find yourself feeling calm when everything around you is chaotic, it could be God reminding you that He’s in control, and you’re not alone.

2. Persistent nudges or ideas – When a thought keeps coming back to you whether it’s a decision you need to make, a person you need to forgive, or a step you need to take God may be guiding you through that persistent feeling.

3. Closed doors – Sometimes, God’s “no” is a form of protection. If you’re facing setbacks or rejections, it might be His way of redirecting you to something better.

4. Scriptures that speak directly to your situation You might open your Bible or hear a verse in a sermon that feels like it was meant just for you. That’s God speaking to your heart.

5. People sent into your life – God often uses others to deliver His messages. A friend’s advice, a mentor’s encouragement, or even a stranger’s kind words could be God reaching out to you.

6. An inner conviction – That gentle tug on your heart, the feeling that something isn’t right or that you need to act, is often the Holy Spirit’s way of leading you.

Remember, God speaks in ways that align with love, truth, and wisdom. If you pay attention, you’ll see He’s always communicating you just need to listen.
