A 27 year old Kenyan lady has caught the attention of social media users after revealing that she has kept the same dreadlocks for 26 years.
The young woman recently met Nairobi County Chief Officer Geoffrey Mosiria, who was left surprised by the extraordinary length of her hair.
In a video that has since attracted attention online, the lady is seen standing beside a black SUV at an outdoor entertainment spot decorated with warm lights. Her dreadlocks, which extend past her knees and reach the ground, immediately caught Mosiria’s attention.
During their conversation, Mosiria could not hide his amazement as he asked the lady how long she had maintained her distinctive hairstyle.
The woman confidently explained that she had kept her dreadlocks for 26 years. Her response surprised Mosiria, who immediately wanted to know her age.
When she revealed that she was 27 years old, the county official was even more astonished. He asked whether she had started growing her dreadlocks when she was just one year old.
The lady confirmed that she had indeed started at that young age and had grown up with the same hairstyle. She explained that her dreadlocks had become part of her life and identity.

She revealed that she is a university graduate who studied Building and Construction. Besides her academic qualifications, she also works as a DJ in the entertainment industry.
The young woman further explained that she specialises in finishes and interior work. She also supplies varnish and related products for construction projects.
Mosiria praised her for pursuing her education while also building a career in entertainment and construction. He also commended her commitment to maintaining her natural hair for so many years.
