Kakamega senator Dr Boni Khalwale has called out the former prime minister Raila Odinga following his latest statement on Ruto’s government.
Speaking via his official twitter handle, Boni Khalwale urged Mr Odinga to stop confusing kenyans after saying ODM won’t support Ruto’s re-election in 2027.
Boni Khalwale claimed Mr Odinga is confusing kenyans by claiming ODM won’t back Ruto’s re-election bid considering the fact that last week he revealed plans of backing Ruto’s bid.
“Dear @RailaOdinga, we thank u and H E @WilliamsRuto for the stability arising from the broad based government.
Sir, it bothers me that whilst in Nyanza ua message with the masses in unison is that u are unequivocally behind H.E WSR. However when u come to Western, as was yesterday, at the thanks giving party of Sen Osotsi, u send mixed signals. U are confusing our people.Sir, please stop this”, he said.
His statement comes off a day after Mr Odinga said that ODM will field a Presidential candidate in 2027, a statement that sparked sharp reactions from Kenyans online.
