Few hours ago, Azimio la Umoja one Kenya alliance leader honorable Raila Odinga slammed Kisii county commissioner for dictating and sending police to disrupt Simba Arati’s public rallies claiming that he is being used by president William Samoei Ruto to finish Simba Arati. Claimed that his position is just rubbish.
Raila claimed that according to the new constitution, the positions of regional commissioners, county commissioners, assistant county commissioners do not exist and now they do not have any power to disrupt elected governor like Simba Arati.
On the other hand, Raila said that he has not yet been elected in the African Union chairperson position and if he will be elected, his work will start next year so he will be available all this time and he will also come back in 2027 if needed.
Odinga said this while in Daraja Mbili market in Kisii county in an event attended by Simba Arati, Wycliffe Oparanya, Ochilo Ayako, senators, members of Parliament, members of county Assembly among other leaders.
