ODM member of parliament, Caleb Amisi, has now alleged that president William Ruto engineered the fall of his allies who didn’t manage to secure political seats in the 2022 general election.
According to Amisi, he has alleged that president Ruto was tired with the voices from his allies who were seeking government jobs thus he intentionally appointed them to the unconstitutional CAS positions in a large number as he knew that it won’t succeed.
“Ruto was fed up with disturbing voices from political rejects so he decided to appoint them in illegal, overrepresented CAS positions above the constitutional threshold and without public participation, fully aware that it won’t go anywhere. You were played, but at least you have learned some politics.” MP Caleb Amisi alleged.
Meanwhile, this comes just hours after the high court judges ruled that the appointment of over 50 CAS by president William Ruto was unconstitutional. The High court went on to note that the number of appointed CASs exceeded the required limit by 27.
