Machakos Governor Waving Ndeti has said that any worker in Machakos county who cross the red line will go to jail. According to her she will not allow misappropriation of county funds.
“I will not relent in my efforts to firm up and ensure the county resources are utilized in accordance with the law. Those who intend to cross the red line and misappropriate funds risk going to jail”. Said Hon. Waving Ndeti Machakos Governor.

“I have heard some people complain that I have introduced strict measures and sanctions in the county procurement systems. I want to assure them for the avoidance of doubt that such measures are deliberate to ensure accountability and transparency in the management of public finances”. Hon. Waving Ndeti added.
