The CS Interior Kithure Kindiki has threatened to throw to jail some of the MCAs and a UDA MP who Incited the people to violence in Kericho County. The actions of the MCAs led to huge losses on tea Multinationals who watched in disbelief as tea machines were being burnt.

The People of Kericho County demonstrated demanding to be given jobs by the tea Multinationals. However, failure to get jobs for their people resulted in incitement against the Multinationals.
The CS Interior is clear that he has a solid intelligence information that will see the said UDA leaders from Kericho charged in court. The CS has affirmed that section of Azimio leaders are also inciting supporters to violence and this something that government is investigating.
CS Kindiki has affirmed that he has instructions from president William Ruto to prosecute all those who are breaking the law irrespective of their political affiliations. Whether UDA MP and MCAs will be charged, let’s wait and see for it’s a fact that CS Kindiki means business when it comes to security of Kenyans.
