Siaya Senator Oburu Odinga, the former prime minister Raila Odinga’s elder brother, has sent to President William Ruto a powerful message over His brother.
The Orange Democratic Movement party senator asked the president to stop treating Raila’s Mass Action as a personal duel.
He claimed that Raila is fighting for Kenyans and not for his personal gains but on behalf of all Kenyans.
On the deployment of the police on Monday to counter the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition supporters, the Siaya senator faulted Ruto arguing that it was wrong for him to attempt to disrupt the Protests which are allowed by the Kenyan Constitution.
Oburu told Ruto that he should know that he is the president of the Republic of Kenya who holds the instruments of power noting that he should protect all Kenyans including the former prime minister.
