Kenya has witnessed five different presidents running the country with three being no where to be seen after ailing and thereafter pronounced dead. After Kenya attained Independence in 1963, the late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta became the first president, after his death in 1978, the late Daniel Moi became the second president of the republic of Kenya.

 

In 2002, Moi retired and the late president Mwai Kibaki took over the mantle where he ruled till 2012. Uhuru Kenyatta has served as the fourth president from 2013 to 2022 and from August last year, William Ruto is leading the country as the fifth president untill 2027.

According to the reports released by the World Bank (WB) financial institution, the late president Mwai Kibaki will remain the best chief executive in Kenya following his efforts of reducing the poverty rate from 46.7 per cent to 36.1 per cent between 2005-2015 period.

The world bank has also reported that the late president increased the Gross Domestic Production per capita when it grew faster with the private consumption playing a big role.

In conclusion, the report by WB was unveiled yesterday that ranked the late president Mwai Kibaki as the best chief executive Kenya has ever had.
