Wanja Nyarari, a woman who has been seen in the company of President William Ruto and other senior government officials, has broken her silence after days of speculation on social media. Kenyans have been asking questions about her identity after she was spotted with top officials, including Deputy President Kithure Kindiki. The speculation grew when Kindiki recently visited Namibia. This fueled rumors, especially from social media bloggers, who linked her to the Deputy President.
However, in a Facebook post, Wanja strongly denied the claims, calling them false and harmful. She clarified that her meeting with Kindiki was purely professional and focused on discussing candidates who had qualified for certain opportunities but faced financial difficulties. She added that the meeting took place inside the aircraft, in the presence of other officials.
āI did not travel with him to Namibia, a fact that can be verified through immigration records. I have no political ties with Mulima or any other place and I am deeply troubled by those who spread these baseless rumors merely to stir controversy,ā she wrote.
Wanja also expressed her disappointment, saying that such rumors not only damage reputations but also affect families. She emphasized her respect for marriages and urged people to stop dragging her name into political and personal disputes. Wanja further stated that such false claims not only damage reputations but also have the potential to break families and invade the privacy of both the Deputy Presidentās family and her own. She urged people to dismiss these allegations and safeguard the dignity of all those involved.
āFor those trying to push me into a relationship I am not in, please respect my personal life,ā she added. Her statement comes after days of speculation, with many online users questioning her close association with government leaders.
