Some few minutes ago, reports emerged that the president of this country, Dr William Samoe Ruto has made two major appointments on his goverment as he is allowed by the law.
The first appointment is that of hon Naomi shaban. Reports says that Dr Ruto has appointed the former lawmaker as the Chairperson of the Tobacco control board for a period of three years. “Shaban, who will serve for a three-year term, replaced Khama Rogo – a health sector Specialist who has worked with renowned organisations, including the World Bank.” Says the report.
The second appointment is that of Proffesor Simon Gicharu who has been appointed as the Chairperson of the KICD for a period of three years. The billionaire who owns TV47 and Radio 47 will replace Prof Elishiba Njambi Kimani. On other hand, the minister of Internal security and coordination, prof Kithure Kindiki has appointed Nelson Nzuya as the member of Non-governmental organization board. Nzuya is the former Chairperson of Jubilee party.
