The president of this country, Dr William Samoe Ruto has reportedly made some several changes in UDA party which happens to be the ruling party in Kenya.The first change according to Kenyans.co.ke is that of the deputy governors who will now join the County Goverment Caucus of the party. Previously, the deputy governors were not admitted as members of County Goverment Caucus. This move has been made so as to involve deputy governors in the affairs and governance of the ruling party.
Secondly, Ruto has announced that those who will be eyeing the county chairperson position will have to vie without running mates. The first runners-up of the opposite gender will automatically become the vice chairperson. This change has been made so as to ensure gender balance in the party structure.

On other hand, the party has announced that the constituency officials will include chairperson, secretary, treasurer and other three representatives youth, Women and people living with disabilities. These constituency officials will be part of National Delegates Conference (NDC) which happens to be the top decision-making organ of the party.
