As reported by the Tuko News, president William Ruto who was talking in meru county slammed Raila Odinga over his demonstrations plan. According to Ruto, weekly demonstrations will never solve the issue of high cost of living. Ruto said that such demonstrations will further hurt the economy of this country. He went ahead to say that he has made some key moves to lower the cost of living. The head of state said that his goverment has provided fertilizer and seeds to the farmers where in some few months to come, there would be enough harvest in the country.
“The way to change Kenya and ensure that food is available is not to put a sufuria on your head and going to street protests. It is to take seeds and fertilizers and go and march on your farm, produce food so that we can get rid of hunger,” he said.
