On the Monday March 7th morning conversation, Maina and Kingangi discussed the matter of husbands not disclosing to wives what they do to make money.
Maina referred to a friend of his who told him that she ha been married 6 years and to date, has no clue what he does -job or businesswise.
‘met a lady going onto 6 years of marriage, until today she doesnt know what the huband does. i asked her what does her husband do, she said biashara, she has never been to his office, but he leaves every morning, he has never invited her, ladies do you know you could be living with a killer and you don’t know, have you ever realized that?’
Mwalimu said it’s not a big deal to know what he does ‘shida iko wapi na ameleta chakula?’
A man called in accusing wives of also not disclosing their activities to their husbands as well. He accused them of doing worse.
‘ebu go to Karomaindo you see the number of women there. These women leave home going to ‘work’ and then when she is done, she goes home after a hard day at work. Na anarudi nyumbani jioni but during the day she had gone hunting for a man. Let me tell you Maina, mungu moja, there are many husbands who don’t know what their women do, I go there to have a few drinks then I hear them saying they have to hurry up because her husband will be home by 8pm, and she needs to be earlier than him. They talk and laugh at their husbands .So don’t question men about what they do to make money. It’s not Karomaindo, even in Thika there are so many places women go to do the nasty then return home with money. Wanaenda huko for service na anarudi jioni na kanyama, na men don’t know ni wafala sijui wako aje? i go to karomaindo for a drink that’s how i kno, that is how it goes’
