His real name is Fidel Maithya he is an actor, commercial producer, radio/Tv presenter and sport analyst. Fidel’s mother worked as a video editor at KBC and played a significant role in fueling his passion.
She would take him to theater where young Fidel falled in love with acting. Although he was once a shy kid he blossomed into a talented actor.
His breakthrough in acting came with the show ‘Selina’ which gave him significant attention in the industry. He got the role as Dr Leshan while he was playing in another movie ‘Vashita’. The casting director of Selina posted on Facebook for someone to play Dr Leshan he auditioned and got the role.
Fidel has also featured in ‘Monica’ the show that follows the life of Brenda Wairumu as she chases her dreams. He has also appeared in the second season of ‘Single kiasi,’ has also featured in other movies such as ‘Second family’, ‘Crime and Justice’ and ‘Big girl small world’.
He also has a passion for basketball and has worked as a commentator and a sport analyst at supersport. Fidel was also part of the EFC basketball team which included notable people like Nonini. The EFC team was involved in charitable activities that impacted many lives.
In 2023 interview, Fidel disclosed that he has someone special in his life and they are yet to have children.
