Citizen television presenter Willy M Tuva made the trip to Eldoret where late marathoner Kelvin Kiptum met his untimely death the other Sunday. This was a terrible occurrence that brought pain in the country being that he was a man full of life, and who still had his whole life ahead of him. Kiptum was reportedly going to another centre where he was going to watch the AFCON final between Ivory Coast and Nigeria, but this was never to be. Initial investigation report’s cite that the vehicle might have been on high speed before veering off the road. When he left Eldoret, he was rushing to catch the other match .
As M Tuva made the trip to Eldoret, he laid the flowers at the scene where the car hit the tree. But something else could be noticed on the tree, a new signpost, written “Kiptum road.” May his soil rest in eternity.
